Quantum Science, Networking, and Communications

This program is designed to allow professionals in quantum adjacent fields to acquire the skills and competencies that they need to break into this high-demand field. In this seven week course, you will be exposed to the fundamentals of quantum science, networking, and communications with an overview of quantum software packages. Over the course of this program your familiarity with quantum concepts and your skill at solving quantum networking, communications, and computing problems will be developed.  By the end of the program, you will have a working knowledge of quantum science, an understanding of quantum networks and communications protocols, and an understanding of and ability to code quantum circuits using Qiskit and quantum network protocols using SeQUeNce. Quantum Information Science and Engineering (QISE) has the power to transform cybersecurity, materials development, computing, and other research areas. Companies in the communications, electronics, optics, and materials industries are examining how to build a quantum-ready workforce quickly and efficiently. This course gives you the skills required to be a leader in these emerging industries.
